ProTube is one of the most prominent jailbreak apps on iOS. It fixed the crumby native app and replaced it with something much more awesome. Now the same developer is at it again! ProTube 2 has just hit Cydia and adds lots new features to Google?s standalone YouTube app store app, most importantly a download feature which we all tend to love. I took it for a spin in the video below:
The reason why I like this tweak, is that it?s taken the new YouTube app for iOS, and improved it. It doesn?t try to do anything frilly, it includes a solid download manager with some sorely needed features that were blatantly missing from the new app. If you like what you see, ProTube 2 is available for $1.99 from the BigBoss repo. I personally am a big fan of this tweak, ever since the original ProTube hit Cydia?s shelves I?ve had it installed on my devices. Good job Jonas Gessner!
