An enhanced version of our popular AutoStitch Panorama app for iPhone, the new iPad version takes full advantage of the beautiful iPad display, and allows for twice the maximum resolution, up to 36 megapixels.
AutoStitch for iPhone first launched in June 2009 and has gathered more than 500,000 loyal and active users. For those that already have AutoStitch for iPhone, the iPad version provides the perfect companion. You can capture shots on the go with your phone, then transfer your projects to the iPad to view them on the larger screen, or restitch them at even higher resolution.
AutoStitch is designed for photographers who care about the quality of their final results, as it stitches individual full-resolution camera images rather than relying on reduced-resolution video input. Users can stitch any photos in their photo albums, including those taken with the AutoStitch camera, those taken with any other camera apps, or photos imported to the iPad from external cameras.
The iPad version also includes our StitchGuide augmented reality viewfinder. A photographer can take multiple photographs and accurately compose their final high-resolution panorama with a natural visualization of the placement of each image. The photographer can touch images in space to change how they are viewed or choose to delete a photo after it is snapped.
